If you enjoy biking, jogging or strolling along scenic beaches and waterfronts or exploring quaint harbor towns, then Holland should be your trail vacation destination.
The greater Holland area boasts one of the most extensive networks of paved trails in the Great Lake State. Travel from Holland State Park along Lake Macatawa to Saugatuck Dunes State Park and the Village of Saugatuck on one continuous bike path.
Holland's paved trail network connects most of the area's city, county and state parks and scenic areas. Popular staging areas for the Holland Shoreline Trail (around Lake Macatawa) include Holland State Park, Dunton Park and Kollen Park. Window on the Waterfront Park offers scenic views of Windmill Island and the Macatawa Natural Area.
The Beeline Trail travels from Holland to the Village of Saugatuck. The Lakeshore Trail begins at Holland State Park and travels along Lakeshore Drive through Tunnel Park to the city of Grand Haven. Holland and Saugatuck offer plenty of lodging and great places to shop, dine and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
